Hi guys,

Kiting for 10+ years already. And doing big boosts, kiteloops and some unhooked tricks. But not sure on what size board to buy. The past years boards became somewhat bigger, but mainly for boots I thought.

I'm 78 kg, what length and width would you assume for riding straps on a Jaime Pro Textreme or Naish Monarch '19.

thanks for your input.

My best guess would be 136...but again thats my personal advise! A lot of people have a lot of different opinions and there is something to say for all of them.

Reading your kite style (quite similar to mine) you dont want a too big board so you can ride it more easily in high winds, furthermore you also dont want it to be too short which makes landings harder and make pop less aggressive.

Agree with kitemen, a 136 or a 138x41 considering you weigh almost 84kg with a (wet)suit during most sessions.

Only width matters, lenght may vary between approximately 133-139. For your weight 41 cm it is!
