Spot conditions:
The beach
Kite Beach is located on the southeast of Bali. The sandy beach is medium sized. Near the shore the beach is sandy, further away hard ground with grass. To the left (1,5 km east) is Sanur Beach.

The water conditions
The lagoon had flat shallow water. On the reef you can hit some medium waves. The watertemperature is tropical, so you never need a wetsuit. At low tide you might need boots because almost all water dissapears. There is on walking distance (150m) a deep water channel that is ridable. Watch out for fisherman. click for larger version
