Eastern winds 8/5/2006, Enkhuizen, Holland After looking the forecast a few times. We drove up to Enkhuizen on Friday in the beginning there wasn't that much wind but I thought... well I'm here now might as well go out, even though it sucked. I couldn't do any thing but stay upwind with my 15m2! Then I lend my kite and board to some lil kid of 13(littletom) I think... and he went off! when I got my kite back the wind picked up and I was perfect on my 15m2 and had a super good session. When I was done Jobsie took my stuff and went out for a lil while. After he came in the wind was gone, so we drove home but not until we made a pit stop at Mc Donald!
The following day I had to teach for a few hours. but it was still offshore at Noordwijk so we drove to Schellinkhout which is close to Enkhuizen. I had to start teaching at 3ish but we where there around 10ish so I went out on my 12m2 but is was offshore and super gusty. Came back in and waited until they showed up. They showed up early and one of the guys bought a new kite so I was kind enough to help him built it up . Lessons went pretty good they all stood up the board in there first lesson. so they where stoked. I was stoked for them so everybody went home happy.
Monday morning we got in the car cause it was still offshore in Noordwijk and went to Ijburg, but there they put all fences everywhere so we got back in the car and drove to Enkhuizen again. The wind started of bad again. but still good enough for 12m2. After like a hour the wind started howling and I was lit out of my mind on my 12m2. The only thing we could do was boosting huge!! So did some board-offs and some insane high jumps. After a while the wind got a lil bit less and I started to kiteloop hp. The wind decreased again and we drove back home before rush hour.... we thought... we had to fill up the car at the gas station and the lady behind the desk took forever. I also had an Ice cream... so I started to eat it... but she didn't like that that much. We still made it before rush hour but it was a close call.
