Country and Location
Denmark is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe and the senior member of the Kingdom of Denmark. It is the southernmost of the Nordic countries; southwest of Sweden and south of Norway, and it is bordered to the south by Germany. Denmark borders both the Baltic and the North Sea. The country consists of a large peninsula, Jutland (Jylland) and many islands, most notably Zealand (Sjælland), Funen (Fyn), Vendsyssel-Thy, Lolland, Falster and Bornholm, as well as hundreds of minor islands often referred to as the Danish Archipelago. Denmark has long controlled the approach to the Baltic Sea, as over water this can only take place via one of the three channels, that are also known as the "Danish straits".
Klitmøller is a small town in the northwest of Denmark. Klitmøller is Denmark's most famous wave spot since the Soul Wave events. It is also called 'The Cold Hawaii'.

The beach
The medium sized beach is full of pebbles and shells. There is enough space for a save launch and landing but watch out for concrete obstacles. On good days the spot can get pretty crowded with other kitesurfers.
The water conditions
On this spot with the correct conditions (westerly winds) you can enjoy medium sized waves. The water is cold but gets warmer in summer. You always need a wetsuit, in summer you can use a shorty. During the winter you need a drysuit.
The wind conditions
The wind depends on the depressions in this area, like most of the other spots in the northwest of Europe. Almost every winddirection is kitable because of the beach goes around a corner. The best months are in spring (March-May) and in Fall (September-November).
