We went to siargao in November 2015. We got in touch with Seabreeze kite club and rented gear from them, as our European sizes (11m) weren't big enough.

Seabreeze kite club in Siargao is located at the brand new resort Viento del Mar. It is right on the beach where you can kite. The island is difficult to reach but once you there it is all easy to access.

The owners are very nice, friendly, hospitable and really want you to have a good time. The wind is very light, mainly good in January and February. Siargao is well known for surfing, if you kite and surf this is the perfect location to go to. The school has special light wind kites, and if you bring your own gear make sure to get in touch with the school before packing all your stuff.

The island is the most beautiful place We have ever been, and it offers a lot of great things to do if the wind is too light. I certainly recommend going, but prepare for some days of light wind kiting, some days of surf and a lot of fun with the Maurice and Jo.

Ps. sometimes it gets very stormy and although the rain hurts a little on your face and it's actually really fun to go out :)!
