ALVARO ONIEVA JOINS BEST TEAM
Alvaro Onieva is one of the emerging stars on the kiteboarding circuit with his unique attention grabbing style and ability to throw technical tricks both ways. Alvaro started kiting at the age of 13 and his progression has been nothing short of amazing. Alvaro became the 2002 European kiteboarding champion at the age of 15 after only two short years of kiting. This natural progression transferred to the 2004 PKRA tour in which at the age of 17 he finished 7th at years end. Alvaro is exciting to watch due to his unmatched creativity, youthful exuberance and natural ability. Ask any pro rider about their favorite names in kiteboarding, and Alvaro Onieva will surely be mentioned.
