Express Interview : Where are your from ?
« I am from St Brieuc in the Côtes D’Armor (Brittany) where I started the kitesurf with friends. I am now living in Spain, at Puerto de Santa Maria, near by Cádiz.
A great part of the year i am in Italy where i prepare my Sport Master of Management. »
Cádiz is a good spot ?
« Cádiz is a great spot. This is a huge bay, with many spots, with all wind directions. On wintertime there are many waves, the temperature is correct, around 18-20°.
There are 2 dominant winds : the Poniente, West, blowing regularly and the very famous levante, East wind that can blow up to 50 knots… but the bay of Cádix provides many bends en case the wind would be too strong !
Concerning daily life, people are very nice, warm… The climate is influencing because it is difficult to be in a bad mood when you wake up every morning with a deep blue sky. The rhythm of the Spanish life is nice and at any time of the day, streets are crowded with a vibrating life! For whom is tight concerning the purse, Cadix is also a good living and life is cheap : the tapas bar can feed you for almost nothing… »
