Appletree Surfboards is exited to announce that Portuguese pro rider Paulino Pereira is now our international team rider for 2018! He will be riding Appletree strapless and wave kiteboards exclusively for the coming GKA season.
Paulino is originally from Madeira island but he now resides in Lisbon Portugal. He has been a consistent stand out rider in the GKA world tour, in the 2017 season he finished 4th in the World and for the coming season Appletree surfboards will support him to do even better. We are going to provide him with the lightest and strongest boards in the market, completely hand build in our own factory in the Netherlands. Paulino will have a big impact on the design of the boards, in both the shape and construction, this way he will have a definite edge over the competition. His input will also translate directly to the models we offer the general public, this way everyone can ride like Paulino!
We look very forward to working together with Paulino, he's not only one of the best riders we have ever seen, he's also a really nice guy! Onward to a long and fruitful cooperation!
