Ripped and in pain – fuck, damn, shit, crap!

Having changed from a seat harness to a hip harness, I surfed and surfed and surfed until I ripped (or popped) a stomach muscle. Not only did it give a bit of pain, it also made part of my stomach stick out – YUK! It still looks a little like shit, but I hope to get away without being stitched up.

Anyway, there I was, still in Australia, wind, weather and waves perfect, but even taping up my stomach didn’t get me out on the water – and after being informed by the third doctor that I mustn’t surf, I decided it was time to see some other part of Australia than just the coast.
