this attachment system allows for the bar to spin freely without fouling and gives you as many options as where to attach your leash as you want.
leash to cuff and wrist, leash to spreader bar or leash to back of harness, if you think your harness will take it.
the idea is that because the leash clasp is attached behind the chicken loop release, it will still allow release, it does i've tried it with a very angry 13m in 25mph today. because the centre lines untwist above the depower system there is no problem with the leash ever twisting, it simply doesn't. so you can attach the leash to your wrist, via the cuff, loop it around your spreader, or attach it to the never ending supply of harnesses you must be getting if you set it up on the back of the harness handle like the pro's.
be aware though that if you do release your kite and it powers up on the way down you are in for a hell of a drag, as you are still attached firmly to the centre lines.
but it does make relaunching real easy as you have something soft to pull in on and the oh shit handle is only ever a leash length away.
