Bas Koole
One of the "Dutchies," Bas is one of those guys who is always smiling, and really enjoys his life as a kiter. After finishing school, he headed to South Africa to pursue the sport on a more serious level, and continues to travel as much as he can. This year, look for Bas on a few of the PKRA stops, as well as some national events, displaying his smooth wake style on his 07 Yargas. Bas's goal is to take kiteboarding into the mainstream and work with brands outside the market to gain exposure: he recently appeared in a short streetkiting movie with the shoe company K-Swiss.
