Best Kiteboarding acquires EH Kiteboarding for undisclosed sum and locks in industry’s top kite design team.
Best Kiteboarding (www.bestkiteboarding.com) today announced its acquisition of EH Kiteboarding. EH Kiteboarding, based in Cabarete and well known as the kite industry’s premier kite designers, will now be the exclusive kite designer for Best and will discontinue EH branded kites.
“Best’s acquisition of EH will help mold our company’s image to be the leader in innovation, design and invention,” said Alex Shogren, President & CEO of Best Kiteboarding. “Based on our first 5 months of sales, we consider Best to be the largest kite company in the world, and with this acquisition, we can better focus on bringing our valued customers the best kites at the best prices through bestkiteboarding.com and our growing global network of traditional retailers.”
EH will continue to work out of its design loft in Cabarete in the Dominican Republic and will be the exclusive distributor of Best products in Cabarete.
“We are thrilled to be a part of Best Kiteboarding,” said Eric Hertsens, co-founder and President of EH Kiteboarding. “We can now exclusively concentrate on cutting edge kite designs for Best Kiteboarding and kiters all over the world who want the safest and best performing kites for 50% less than other brands.”
Best will honor all future warranties for EH kites including Best’s unmatched 30-day, even if your dog eats it, warranty where one can try any Best or EH product for thirty days and return it for any reason for a full refund of exchange.
