Bastien Bollard is in februari naar Cuba geweest. Cuba staat nu niet echt bekend voor wind en dat was er ook niet. Af en toe was er een wel een beetje wind, maar niet genoeg om echt hoog te gaan en alle trucken uit de kast te halen. Al bij al krijgen we toch nog een mooie movie te zien over Cuba. Enjoy🙂

Hi ... Thanks to had my video . I was so surprised because i did not send it to hanglos.fr and i found it on Hanglos.nl 🙂

Like some guys said , there is not a lot of kite action ... In fact i was there for 3 weeks ... 2 weeks with a friend who was there to take pictures and film with an EOS 7D ... But during is stay we had only one day with wind and it was on a lake in the middle of cuba island ...

For the lasts 7 days, i was alone with only my GO pro ( my friend was back in France for work ) , a big depression arrived from the north with enormous swell and really strong gusty wind ( between 30 and 45 knots). It was a sort of storm which arrived in Europe too ( in France more than 100 people died during this storm in early March 2010)..

In la Havanna it was the panic ... The malecon ( big boulevard near the sea) stayed close during four days and TV announced swell around 6 meters ( my friend who was back in france was crazy when french TV announced that). you could see it on a this small vidz

So yes it was difficult to realized a small clip ... I had some rushs with the eos 7d and go pro which was filmed in 10-11 knots when my firend was there and rushs with the GO Pro during the storm like at 2:45... All cuban was afraid on the beach , and screamed me " cuidado cuidado las olas de la muerte " ( be careful be careful these are death's waves) . it was like that during my last 3 days ... It 's why too i'm using a Twin typ , in waves !!!! The swell was so big and so anarchic that it was impossible to use my strapless surf which you could see at 2:50.

But Cuba is so Magic that i decided to realized a small clip with rushes i had . Thanks for positivs comments on the edit . For the other you were wright too...

For next trips's movie ( Tanzania-Zanzibar, Canarias, Brasil , Uruguay, Argentina chile Peru ) i promise you both good edit and action .
