This simple device allows your footstrap to pivot while sailing. However, due to a unique arrangement of the footstrap plate, the system locks easily when weight is placed on the plate. The rotatable footstrap plate was originally designed for kite wave surfers, but can be used on a variety of boards, for example kitesurf twintips, wakeboards, windsurf boards, etc... By allowing your foot to pivot to the most optimal position, less force is placed on your body allowing you to surf longer without injury or fatigue.
