Ik vond een klein artikel van Eric Herstens over het Bow-concept. Misschien interessant voor sommigen!


The way these kites behave now is unacceptable, you have full de-power but at what cost, al the other parameters, like jumping, up wind, turning speed and controllability are at best even or less than the average good normal existing designs

Price, these kites cost the same as any other kite to produce, they use the same amounts of materials and sewing them together takes the same amount of labor. A couple of dollars on the extra bridle and some pulleys do not justify the hundreds of dollars price increase. If the customer has to pay double for this product then there should be a serious performance increase, this is not true with the current bow designs. If we market a bow kite it will be priced properly
I sincerely doubt if we will be able to produce Bow design that will outperform the existing inflatable or more specificly the modern foil designs.

NN het ziet er raar uit en er zijn maar 4 mensen in Nederland die met een Cabrinha varen... De meesten vinden het dus een frapant gezicht die touwenwinkel aan de stuurlijnen. ;)
