Here are some Infos:
We just started to deliver the SPEED in 5.0m² sizes.

With the release of the 5m² SPEED we are also proud to announce s new kind of material to replace the Blow Out Valve Technology:

In order to avoid severe damage to the kite due to hard crashes, we developed a new internal material, called TPU.

It is capable of absorbing enormous shock loads by just elastic stretch up to 450%.
If crashing, you can compare the behaviour of the kite with a balloon hitting the ground. It deforms for a short time and then returns directly and 100% to its original shape.

• If still someone should still be able to rip something, the TPU parts are all standard size and repair is now much simpler.
• The TPU also helps for a smoother top sail to improve the performance and to reduce shock loads at the attachment points.
• TPU is a step forward with a view to product safety and to our 6 month free-repair-warranty.

We will use this new Variable Profiledepth Technology in all further closed celled kites.

Bye, Armin

@slis
