Door het uitvallen van de geplande stop in Cabarete (die nog niet eens bevestigd was) kan de geplande stop in Coche, Venezuela nu wel een week opgeschoven worden. Hiermee lijken ze toch toegemoet te komen aan alle riders die kritiek leverden op de dubbele planning van de VKWC stop in Venezuela en de Triple S in de VS.

Hopelijk is dit ook het begin in een verbetering van relaties tussen de VKWC en de riders.

The Virgin Kitesurf World Championships event in Cabarete has been cancelled. Due to organizational difficulties the event cannot take place on June 9th till 14th 2015 and therewith it will not take place in 2015 at all. These unfortunate circumstances opened the possibility to postpone the event in Venezuela to these dates in order to avoid a clash of dates with the Triple S (a sliders and kickers event taking place in Cape Hatteras, USA).

Venezuela, Isla de Coche (Disciplines: Freestyle & Big Air), will be the second stop of the VKWC - a location where riders will be able to express themselves in the best possible conditions. In fact, this place is renown as one of the best kite spots in the world for freestyle thanks to its flat water and constant winds. Riders will be able to put a show for the crowd and push the level with their latest tricks. Venezuela will take place from the 9th until the 13th of June.
