There was less than 2 weeks to go until the next event in Portugal, the forecast for Europe wasn’t looking so good so I decided to take a trip to Hurghada, Egypt. It is pretty close to home and was coming into the windy season, I had already been there a few times before so I thought why not kite and practise a bit for the week.
It turned out to be really good, it was windy everyday, nice and warm and good fun. Mark Shinn was out there as well doing his advanced clinics, it was cool to hang out with him and learn a few things from him on a skim board.
Colona water sports delivered the condition as usual, I was using my 12 most days riding in the flat water off the sand bar.
