Hello! I don’t speak Dutch, so can you please give me advice. I have just moved to Breukelen and searching for the nice spot to kite nearby, according to the summer wind direction. Can anyone help me out?

HELP!
Hey welcome to holland!
Summer wind direction haha :) you are funny! It doesnt work like that in the netherlands. Winds change every day / week and every summer is different.
Normally southwest is pretty dominant means you have to go to the beach: Ijmuiden, wijk aan zee or for flat water go to Strand horst
Ijmuiden works with: NW (good swell), W = onshore , southwest , South
if winds are from the east never go to the beach as it's offshore.
For winds from the north the closest spot is muiderberg. Nice flat water and grass patch. Note the landing and launching area is fairly small so do it in the water.
Muideberg works with:
West (very gusty so better go to the beach) , NW , N , NE , E (also fairly gusty but one of the few spots that can handle Easterly winds)
There are loads of spots and you are in the middle of the country so
oostvoorne / brouwersdam is also 1h / 1.5h drive.
Cheers

Are you looking for flat water or waves?

@NATURE haha yeahhh the Netherlands.... thanks, good stuff, I will check it out!
Didn't read Nature's post, but he gives the necessary information. Mirns in Friesland is OK too. You can find spot information by clicking kitespots on top of each page.
