I'm from Spain and I want to kitesurf in Holland. I'm living in Amsterdam (Poedijkstraat, 57/ 1059 VG) and I want information about the conditions near my house.

My kite is a BEST 12 WAROO, and I want a conditions for an advanced begginer. I like flat water and some waves but not bigger than 1 meter. How is the temperature water over here??? What wetsuit is necessary hereee, is it enough 4/3??? How many days per month can you practice kitesurfing??

Hey dude,

Check location Muiderberg. Flat water, max 80cm deep. Good winds aslong if their in no south direction in it!! 20 min from amsterdam

wijk aan zee and Ijmuiden can be Okay for an advanced beginner as well.

Not too far from Amsterdam

Some additional info on Muiderberg:

The best wind direction is NW, N is also ok.

Don't go there if the wind comes from SE, S, SW or W. In these conditions the wind is offshore and will therefore be gusty and shifting. In south or southwesterly winds just go to wijk aan zee.
