Hoe kom ik aan IKO 3

Goeiendag,

In December ga ik naar Florida voor een weekje, als ik ergens dikke wind zie dan wil daar kitespul huren.

Er zijn daar veel kitespots alleen op een aantal locaties moet je laten zien dat je IKO 3 hebt.En verzekerd bent voor in het buitenland.

Hoe kom ik aan IKO 3 ? Kite al 10 jaar elke winddag, ervaring genoeg nu alleen dat pasje nog.

Bij elke kiteschool in Nederland kan je een IKO check-up doen, in de US ook wel denk ik.

Yes, bring English copy of insurance that states that insurance covers your kiteboarding activities internationally. Also needed: an IKO card or equivalent stating that you can ride upwind, turn and jump safely.

Checkin with these documents at the Miami Kiteboarding van, Crandon Park North Beach, Key Biscayne. Look under Locations on our web site for directions.

Thanks a lot ! This insurance, I have an insurance for kitesurfing in other countries, if I bring a copy of my insurance policy would this be enough ?

Excellent wind in December. Warmest and most consistent wind is in SE Florida and the Keys. The best and most popular spot is our concession at Crandon Park, Key Biscayne, Miami. Note that this is a private launch and you are required to have IKO Level 3 Cerification or equivalent and insurance to ride there.

All other SE Florida launches are unregulated.

I see that there are many kite spots at Florida, but which one is the best for kitesurfing and where can I find the strongest wind ?
