IKO Now Offers International Kiteboard Insurance with Lloyd’s
IKO is pleased to announce that Beazley Syndicate at Lloyd’s, IKO’s insurance partner, has recently approved twenty-one new countries that can now offer unprecedented international kiteboard insurance exclusively to IKO Kite Centers. This insurance program is made available to IKO Members through IKO Kite Centers located in most countries around the world. “Beazley is proving to be an outstanding insurance partner with the IKO as this new addition of approved countries reinforces why we chose Lloyd’s. It shows that Beazley is committed to making the best
kiteboard specific insurance available and exclusively to our members,” explains Frédéric Béné, cofounder of the IKO. “This insurance program is ideal because it meets all the local requirements and
insurance regulations for each country specifically. What is more, upon request, more countries can be added.” The newly added countries to the list are: Austria, Bahamas, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.
The following, are countries previously approved to offer this insurance policy: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Mauritius, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and UK.
