IKO UK Instructors, Schools and Points can now subscribe to comprehensive and affordable insurance coverage!

The International Kiteboarding Organization is proud to announce that it has now extended its insurance coverage to meet the needs of IKO UK based Instructors, Schools and Points. Indeed, IKO qualified Instructors, Affiliated schools and Points can now subscribe to an insurance policy specifically designed for teaching!

The IKO is very pleased to add this insurance package to our already comprehensive worldwide program for schools and instructors. This addition makes the IKO the only organization in the world to offer options to meet the specific national requirements for its international professional network.

The main features of the policy are Public Liability, Products Liability and Professional Indemnity. The cover extends to Powerkiting and Snowkiting, providing the IKO membership is current and the relevant qualification is held.

There are 3 different options available which cover Instructors, Sole Traders (adequate for Affiliated Points) and Registered Businesses (Affiliated Schools). A special feature unique to this policy covers IKO UK instructors working abroad for up to a maximum of 6 months.
