On Saturday I gave a very brief try to my new 2004 Cabrinha BT 17. It wasn’t a good day, but I was willing to try my new toy, so out I went.
The wind was very gusty (8 to 16 knots), and died after 20 minutes, so I cant say much about the kite or the Recon sistem; but I was impressed by the jelly fishing. Although it was well inflated, it jelly fished a lot when I sheeted in or out, or when a gust hit. Then it stayed stable. The jelly fishing was notable only looking at the kite, and wasn’t felt at the bar.
