The Dutch make up a core part of the high wind extreme crew of riders and Kevin de Smidt is right up there in the heart of the group. Exciting to watch, fearless and always willing to push bigger, harder, faster and further.
Kevin pulled off one of the biggest and most extreme mega loops of the KOTA event last year by being completely inverted, with his kite looping underneath him at eye level with the raised judging tower.
If Kevin can raise that level of consistency through the entire event, we’d expect to see him finish higher this year.
