2nd place PKRA Belgium
Just ended up 2nd on the PKRA in Belgium!!! The first day of the contest we had some wind already so that was great!!! The conditions were very hard because the wind was a little bit offshore so very gusty… The wind was up till 50 knots that was crazy. After finishing my heat what was heat 4 they canceled the next heat because it was picking up even more… They waited for 30min and than the wind dropt completely… So we were finished for that day. The 2nd day there was no wind… so not much happened… The 3rd day there was good wind again!!! Rain and strong wind did not kept the people from the beach, there were so many people watching and supporting us that everyone was stoked to ride. In the final I was against Lothe and I won the heat that means that I won the singles!!! After almost waiting the complete 4th day on the beach and in the tent. I finally had to go out. It was already 20.45 when I had to go in my wetsuit. At 21.00 it was my heat. I had to go against Hadlow. The wind was strong and gusty so good for my 6m, it was low ty so it was very shallow… The first heat against Hadlow I lost so I had to go again… And that heat I also lost… so I ended up 2nd.
Then the last day we did a big air best trick. That means you had to do the sickest trick as high as possible. I ended up 3rd what I did not really expect… My sister also got 2nd in the freestyle.
