Misschien niet voor iedereen even belangrijk nieuws, maar toch even vermelden dat ze in het verre oosten ook belangrijke kitewedstrijden houden. hieronder wat meer info hierover en wat foto's.

Kiteboard Tour Asia: Mui Ne's successful completion

Mui Ne did not disappoint in the end! Our final day brought wind that grew stronger and stronger and a clean shore break with waves crashing overhead, creating obstacle and opportunity as riders battled it out for a freestyle day full of nail-biting, edge of your seat action! Japan represented well in freestyle as Aya Oshima won for the women and Hironobu Nakano for the men. Vietnamese locals cheered on, faces beaming of pride, as they watched disadvantaged visiting competitors learn how to navigate the epic conditions that Mui Ne beach is famous for presenting!
And, as always, there was a kick ass awards ceremony.

Freestyle Men- Nationality, Woman- Nationality
1 Hiro Nakano- Japan, Aya Oshima- Japan
2 Ken Nacor- Philippines, Jannicke Stav- Norway
3 Yo Pudla- Thailand, Kathrin Borgwardt- Germany

Overall Course Racing
1 Heikki Gross- Estonia, Kathrin Borgwardt- Germany
2 Taner Aykurt- Turkey, Aya Oshima- Japan
3 Deivis Maciulis- Lithuania, Hill Siu- Hong Kong
