Is er iemand die mij iets kan vetrellen over kiten in Curacao en Bonaire ? Welke spots zijn chill en hoe hard waait het er. Ik ga mischien in december.

just came back from Curacao and Bonaire. There is no proper spots in Curacao. Wind is NO and this side of the island is rough, reef and coral. Other side off shore, full with hotels and because of topographie of Curacao, really gusty. Locals (5 kiters or so) go to St Joris Bay but this is gusty and really ugly. Deserted bay, no shade. Locals go to Klein Curacao once a week. Super there. Off shore but really long sandy beach.

Bonaire is better but do not go only to kite. Small relax island with friendly people. Lac Bay, the really nice spot is now forbidden to kite. Windsurfers make the law there. One guy has a good running kite school there now using Salt Works spots. Pink Beach higher is better but there they can not hangar the boat because of coral reef. It is off shore wind but they have 2 boats and rescue costs 10$.

Bonaire is much more relax and safe but no discos no parties. 23h everyone sleeps. Only hang outs at the bars are possible.

Google for the kite school in Bonaire and they can tell you when best to come. Owner really chill really nice.
