This is an extract from the Daily Tribunal News (Irish Based Newspaper).
Yesterday reports were received that whilst Doreen Chaderton was walking her pet dog on the 11th Dec 2002 at 17.00 GMT at the local beach in Galloway Ireland, she noticed a group of locals kitesurfing in the bay.
Doreen decided to rest for some minutes on the bench overlooking the kiters. She reports that after approximatly ten minutes watching, she noticed a very bright light coming from somewhere above. Doreen describes that she thought that is was the cloud cover breaking, until one of the kitesurfers performed a jump. The strange thing about this jump was that the man or woman just kept on going up.
Doreen reports that the kitesurfer did not stop gaining altitude and eventually disappeared into the light, which by now, although still unexplained, was definatly not the sun breaking the cloud, as it was both in the wrong position for the time of day, and was observed to have a green hue.
Doreen, now at home, despite calls to speak publicly, says that she is very shaken by the event and wishes to be left alone by press and enquiring UFO spotters.
The identity of the kitesurfer who disappeared has not yet been disclosed by the local authorities, for fears of upsetting close relatives and friends.
