Update 5 mei:
Zojuist zijn we hier aangekomen, onderweg in Nederland kwamen we erachter dat we 5 km achter Tijn, Jerrie en meneer C. Tack reden. Dus even gas erop en samen op naar Oostenrijk. Onderweg geslapen op de parkeerplaats van de Mac waar Jerrie en C. Tack om half 6 uit de tent getrokken werden door de manager van de Mac dat het toch echt geen camping was.. Klotezooi, nog even doorgeslapen en toen even ontbeten bij de mac en doorrijden, alles ging verder goed, afgezien van wat rondvliegende RedBull richting andere auto's.
We zijn nu net een uurtje aangekomen en de Worldcup windsurfen is afgelopen, die druipen nu dus wat af en de kiters komen aan. Johnno is er ook en voor zover bekend is dit de nederlandse delegatie die op het moment aanwezig is. Felix komt er dan nog bij en dan is het compleet hier.
Het is hier op het moment nogal regenachtig en er staat een beetje wind, Johnno heeft al een korte sessie gehad met z'n 14 maar de wind was niet echt genoeg. De voorspelling is helaas ook niet echt hoopvol maar we gaan het wel meemaken! Johnno drukt me nu het eerste biertje in de hand dus het gaat helemaal goedkomen!

Aanstaande donderdag gaat in Podersdorf de eerste stop van de Kitesurftour europe van start, Bram en ik gaan vanavond die kant op cruizen en komen hopelijk morgenavond aan.
Iedereen is benieuwd wat er te wachten staat en ik ga proberen vanuit daar wat updates te doen.
De voorspelling nu is vrij mager maar het lijkt erop dat er donderdag wat vind gaat komen. We zullen het meemaken!
Since 1998 Podersdorf is hosting the biggest Kitesurf- and Windsurfing
Events in Austria and we are proud that this venue is part of the Kitesurf
Tour Europe in the year 2010.
The Location:
Podersdorf is a nice small village straight on Lake Neusiedl and it is the
most famous Surfspot in Austria. In the Year 2003/2005 and 2007 the PKRA
took part in Podersdorf.
The Spot :
Neusiedlersee. The lake is ideal for all types of kite surfing and
windsurfing, especially suited for beginners and intermediate sailors:
Despite its size, the lake is very shallow and a normal sized person can
stand and touch the bottom at almost any point. Because of the shallow lake the water temperature in May can very between 10° and 20° Celsius in a few days.Choppy water. N - NW Winds: 4 - 8 Bft. S - SE Winds: 3 - 6 Bft. Airtemperature: 10 - 2
