After a good night of sleep we woke up without any wind. Nothing much was happening on the beach. So we went to the left of the competition area to ride some of the camels. It was good fun for a no wind day. There was no wind for the next day either. So the skippers meeting was at 12. We chilled a bit went in town again and bought some chameleons at the fish market, but not to keep them, but to give them their freedom back. They where pretty cool for the time being. The next morning the was wind on the forecast so we had to get up early. After the skippers meeting we got pretty much started right away. I won my first heat against Dansin (Fra) and moved on to the second round where I met up with Vincent Tiger (Fra) and I moved on to the quarterfinals. My next opponent was Joujou (Fra). I pretty much had the french army after me. I had a pretty good heat and I won. For the first time in my life I was in the semi finals, so I was stoked already, but we had to postpone the competition till the next morning, because the sun was to low and was blocking the view of the judges lees meer |
