Kitesurf Tour Europe: Germany - Sylt

Event info:

The third tour stop of the Kitesurf Tour Europe 2010 will be at the Kitesurf
World Cup Race at Sylt / Germany. Sylt is the most popular surf spot in
Germany and also every year the best windsurfer come to Sylt to battle
against each other at the Surf worldcup. Since 2009 it’s the second time
that the elite of Kitesurfing came to Sylt to find who’s the best.

The Spot:

The Spot Brandenburger Strand has easy access via airport, shuttle train
for the cars, so you save time to enter the island but also with a direct
train connection from Hamburg. The main wind direction in June is West /
South West also onshore/ side onshore. Depending the Wind strength the waves can be 0,5 m to 3m high. The waves are the most powerful ones in Germanybecause of the northern sea stepping in to deep water.
