Can anyone help ?

A few of my friends I fly with inland are maybe planning a trip to Holland (Amsterdam Area ?)

They are more interested in Landboarding than Kitesurfing, so as none are members of Hanglos so said I would post to as - is Noordwijk suitable for Landboards (ATB's)

If not are there any other beaches in the area ?

Thanks for any help...

why landboard of you can kiteboard?
IJmuiden is a good spot. Noordwijk has lots of restrictions

perhaps others can help you out since i dont know much about landboarding
good luck!

Totally agree.... I would rather kitesurf

but most of the people I fly with and who are talking about a possible trip dont like to get wet...

Cheers for the information

Hey man,

Gotta go to ijmuiden it's near Amsterdam :) i think 30 minutes by car orso. You can even take the bus directly to the beach :)
Ijmuiden is the Landboardspot of the netherlands, Wide beach and it's 99% of the time a solid soil to drive on. landoarders, and buggyers all over the place.

Last time i was in noordwijk the water level was high and only a small beach stip.
Takes a long time from Amsterdam to noordwijk though if you compare it with ijmuiden.

From ijmuiden you can do some nice downwinders to bloemendaal -> zandvoort on the water:)

Cheers
