Het is weer zover de jaarlijkse Master of the Ocean competitie in Cabarete, Dominikaanse Republiek
De triathlon "golfsurfen, kiten en windsurfen"
3 individuele wedstrijden, maar 1 overall winnaar de" Master of the Ocean
Verdedigend kampioen is Emmanuel Rondon uit Cabarete die dit jaar ook weer mee zal doen.

Master of the Ocean” returns in its 8th edition from 23 till 28 of February 2010.
Cabarete invites the world’s best Surfers, Kitesurfers, and Windsurfers. One of the most important and pioneering competitions of its type, ” Master of the Ocean” returns 2010 charged with excitement and skill on the waves of Cabarete.
Cabarete will host the 8th edition of this sporting spectacle, that each year brings together the greatest figures, both national and international, who compete for the crown of “Master of the Ocean,” the athlete with the best performance in the three categories of Surfing, Windsurfing, and Kitesurfing.
Without a doubt, “ Master of the Ocean” constitutes a unique event. It deals with a true “triathlon on the waves,” where participants are totally committed to pulling off tricks and acrobatic jumps (“airs”) on their boards- while the whole audience, in addition to delighting in the highest level of sport, enjoys Cabarete, its great gourmet fare, its exciting nightlife, and all the other event activities like the Music festival Indepen-dance.
