Bij Noorwegen denk je toch meestal aan snowkiten en niet aan flinke golven, maar Lofoten, ver in t noorden van Noorwegen heeft toch hele mooie golven.

The Nordic Naturals® Lofoten Masters, the world’s northernmost surf competition, will host up to 100 international surfers this year from October 10-13, with a Norwegian surf championship as an added offering. The Lofoten Masters will be held in two locations of the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway: the famous Unstad Bay with world class waves located at 68 degrees North in the Atlantic Ocean, and the city of Flakstad, located near the southern end of the Lofoten archipelago.
