A day at Lake Garda
It’s late in the evening, the heat is still hardly bearable and my friends and I are sitting on our terrace in Malcesine, having a couple of beers. Below there is Lake Garda as you rarely ever see it, nothing is moving, the water is as flat and glassy. The sky above Riva is turning dark – you can see lightening on the horizon. You can see the thunderstorm coming closing in rapidly. Suddenly, the wind is changing north and ten minutes later we were in the middle of one of the famous Lake Garda thunderstorms.
