Day 1,2,3 and 4

We had 4 excellent days of speed kite surfing the last 4 days. Today is the first day that the wind is backing off. Maybe still later today. We are running towards two in the afternoon. Normally the wind is present at about 12 noon and increasing during the day..... The speed strip has been open for the last 4 days for about 3-4 hours each day. Everyday the wind was good for kites down to 10 meter. The fastest speed is 38.10 by Manu Taub (Fra). He was riding his 14 meter Takoon and a Radical twintip with a cutout on the tailside. He was ready to break the record but the rough conditions at the end of the strip creased the tail of the board.... I managed to get up to 34.60 knots..... Also ending the day with the same problem as Manu. Speed is not only hard on your body but also for your equipment. You only realize how fast one goes when you start to crash...... More later

Ja, en het feit dat je in zuid afrika woont hoeft nog niet te betekenen dat je geen nederlander bent... Petra Goeschl staat ook altijd als duitse ingeschreven :)
