Ik vind alle regels omtrent reizen met kitespullen maar irritant, misschien kan iemand me advies geven. Ik vlieg morgen naar Kaapstad met South Afrika Airlines. Ik moet tijdens die reis 2x overstappen , waaronder in munchen en de vlucht van schiphol - munchen wordt door lufthansa uitgevoerd. Maar ik heb die vlucht wel gewoon bij SAA geboekt, als deel van de totale reis. Nu zijn de richtlijnen voor lufthansa en SAA dus verschillend. Bij Lufthansa betaal je je scheel aan extra kitespullen meenemen, terwijl het erop lijkt dat je bij SAA ze gratis mee kunt nemen?

Confirmed SSR-reservation is mandatory, except for shooting or hunting equipment.

Op de website van Lufthansa is het ook vaag. Daar staat een kiteboard in een of andere lijst en dan moet je 50 euro voor continentale of 100 euro voor incontinentale vluchten betalen en ook nog eens een of andere hotline bellen om speciaal te reserveren.
Iemand ervaring met dit soort dingen? Ben namelijk bang dat ik morgen op het vliegveld kom en opeens een hoop meer geld kwijt ben dan ik had gedacht.
Gaan die regelingen ook uit van een extra kite-tas bovenop je normale reisbagage? Of geldt die toeslag voor je enige toegestane bagagestuk dat nu dus een kite-tas is en moet je daarnaast nog bijbetalen voor nog een extra bagagestuk: je normale bagage?
