Sam was born and raised in the south of England, and has always been into sports, especially water sports. Hayling Island, Sam’s local spot, is one of the best kiteboard locations in the U.K.
He has been riding for over 13 years now, with his major focus being on wakestyle, but he is not afraid to go big when the wind picks up.
Sam finished second at the Red Bull Len10 Mega Loop Challenge 2012, third in 2013 King of the Air, and also took the slider and overall titles at the 2013 Triple-S event in the USA and claimed a podium at the Rail Masters in Russia for the second year on the trot. Add to that a UK Championship title in his past and Sam must be one of the favourites for the 2015 King of the Air title.
Analytical, smart, tactically astute, tough as they come and willing to push it as hard as anyone, Sam knows how to get the business done.
