Firewire’s Custom Board Design (CBD) is our answer.
It is now heaps of fun and to super easy to get your preferred dimensions on a performance proven Firewire shape. Just follow a few simple steps and you can design your custom Firewire online and then view a 3D PDF of your board as well as other functionality described below. And if you’d like to order your board at a later date, just have some fun with the design module.
Step 1: Choose the Firewire Stock board that is closest to the custom design you’re considering.
Step 2: The program will automatically load those dimensions into the Custom Board Design (CBD) and then allow you to manipulate the following specs:
LENGTH
WIDTH AT CENTER
ADJUST NOSE AND TAIL WIDTHS to tweak the template shape
THICKNESS CENTER (nose and tail thickness automatically adjusted when center thickness is changed)
Step 3: You will be able to select either Futures or FCS fin systems when you order.
Step 4: You will also be able to designate if you want the board shipped to an authorized Firewire dealer near you or shipped (at an extra cost) to your home.
