I currenty just ride a twin tip, but looking into getting a skimboard for a bit of fun in light winds and enjoy the small local waves. Any recommendations? any one ridden a kiteloose woody (old model) or skimmy? I also see a few people say the old Shinn Waterbird is a very fun, 'easy' to ride board.

I owned a Shinn Waterbird and a Nobile Skimboard. Liked the Shinn version for its soft edges and it looks really good, it is a bit heavier than the Nobile skim boards. I liked the nobile skim for it's weight, but didn't like the sharp edges.
