Slingshot Fuel 2003 17m Review van kiteforum.com
Ive tested in very light and in average wind.

The only Big kites on the beach where my slingshot and two F-one Mach1 18m. I started planning at the same time of the F-one riders but they looked a little bit more powered, wind about 7-9 knots. In this light wind i couldnt go upwind, only managed to stay in the same place as the other riders were doing too.
When the wind went up to 10-12 knots i got myself well powered and now i could ride upwind very nicely i think even more then the f-one riders.
On 12-14 knots the 18.1 Mach1 just looks too big and too powerfull to handle, and the fuel still well powered. On 15 knots i started feeling really powered up but still not overpowered, but was not a relaxed riding right now, always trying to old my edge.
The Fuel turns pretty fast, a lot more faster comparing to the f-one 18m, but the kite doesnt run do the edge so fast as other high aspect kites, sometimes u have to push it to the edge with the board.
Very stable on jumps, not a lot of lift but excelent hangtime and stability. Dificult to fall from the sky, i did some errors on jumping letting the kite on my back and it just fly slowly to is place without falling.
Bar was 18 inch and you dont need more than it.
Really liked the kite, very fast turning, nice power and lift, excelent stability, good deepower, very easy to ride.
