Some news about the sweetest gear out there:
1. "The Machine" - light wind kite which has been said to crush the
Contra. Available soon in 17.5, 21 and 25 meter sizes. Litt out of
your mind in 5-10knots.
2. 5th line attachment designed for performance first and safety
second. Supposedly is easily tunable to dramatically increase
hangtime. Also can be used to completely depower the kite.
3. Misfish: combination surf/skimboard but with straps. Supposedly
unbelievable as a light wind weapon and wave slashing machine. Add the
machine and rip waves in 5knots.
4. New boards with variable effective edge: flex gives more edge in
light wind and less in high wind. Was told the new boards feel like a
combination of Jimmy Lewis and Hana Crew.
Slingshot is definitely showing themselves as one of the true leaders
in kiteboarding innovations. Slingshot products work well and are made
to last.
