I arrived in Cape Town the 3rd of January. My dad was there to pick me up, as he has a house there and was there anyway. The plane was circling above Capetown for 30 min. because of the hard wind. Pretty scary though! It was nice to finally be there, after a long stay in Brazil just wishing for more wind.

Anyway, got to my dads, unpacked and drove straight to the beach. It was windy for my 7m2 as usual in SA! A lot of guys from the PKRA were there too. Nice to see them all again, and ride hard!
The first time I went out through the waves, my team mate Ruben Lenten came flying from behind through my lines. We both crashed our kites straight away! Both laughing when Ruben shouts; Welcome to Cape Town! Hahah, what a nice welcome!
