Flysurfer’s Team Rider Dirk Gion succeeded in waterskiing behind the “MS Deutschland”. The 17.000 h.p. liner accelerated to 17 knots with Dirk skiing behind it.

Dirk attracted attention in 2004 when he crossed Australia on a mountain board and a set of softkites by Flysurfer.

His latest project will be an attempt to kite around the world in 80 days. Therefore he is still searching for sponsors.
