Kite Surfing
El Gouna, with its consistent wind year-round, offers the perfect conditions for beginners and experienced kite surfers alike.
The Kite Boarding Club in El Gouna recently opened a Kitesurf Center at Mangroovy Beach, in partnership with the SPORTS & FUN Aqua & Surf center. The Club provides brand-new Naish equipment for learning kite surfing in an easy, secure and fast way. Lessons are given in English and German.

On February 1, 2004, on El Gouna Mövenpick Resort’s beach, Ms. Gabriele Steindl, world’s nb.7 kite surfer and one of the north-team riders, associated with some of the world’s best kite riders, announced the opening of El Gouna Kite Center. "El Gouna Kite Center fosters international service, equipment, maintenance and security standards", said Ms. Steindl. The center’s certified instructors welcome all kite surfing lovers, regardless of their level of expertise or fitness to try out their VÖWS (Verein Österreischischer Windsurf Schulen) accredited course that entitles them to get an internationally recognized license.
