"One of the most inspirering kiteboarders passed away yesterday, Poul died with the kite in his hand at an age of 88.

Poul who turned 88 in february was riding his 8m kite a well windy day at his homespot "Sydvestpynten" near Copenhagen a few km from his house. He came in to shore with the kite a 12 when his heart stopped beating. He died happy the way he wanted at his favorite spot after a great day of kiting - after a long great and very active life around the ocean with his friends.

His life was truly inspiring, I clearly remeber when he took up kiteboarding around 2001 or 2002 and thereafter spending almost every day riding, always with a smile and wanting to chat.

He showed the direction of how to live a great and active senior life and many funy memories remain.

Thanks Poul!"

Poul is in het harnas gestorven aan een hartstilstand.
Ik versta geen Deens, maar voor degene die een korte indruk willen opdoen van de beste man onderstaande video.
