Three disciplines on offer this year: freestyle is still with us though with a reduced number of rounds (undoubtedly recognising that the PKRA have the nap hand in this discipline), ‘waves’ gets six rounds (following the success of the Wave Masters in 2003) and there will be some rounds of speed contest!!! And hopefully they’ll also be opening a KPWT ‘speed base’ somewhere near Cabo Frio in Brazil, which should be open all year round for speed trial-ing when the conditions are appropriate!
