After an intense week of waves & wind we are back in our "cold" country.
Since the first day the wind start to blown pretty strong(around 18/22knts)
and we decide to go in one of the biggest beach , shark beach.
The spot is very easy and a medium kiter doesnt need any skill, jump pump the kite and go...

No reefs , no rock ( a bit of rocks when the tide is low)but only huge safe sand bank!!!!
Theres lot of space in the bay(no Cabarete feeling ), and everytime you jump, its always safe!!!!
Shark beach is nice gym to trained in freestyle, but also the waveriders beginner can enjoy this spot(goofy riding).
From the main city(Santa Maria) you can reach the spot in 10 minutes, normally with a taxi pick up, it cost normally for both ways 15€(not each person, is for the full pick up).
Normally if the wind in the beach of Santa Maria is gusty here is much more stable!!!

In the morning basically is low wind but most of the time during the afternoon , the wind increase until the sundown...
Anyway, we didnt go in Cabo Verde only for flat water....

Then the second day we decide to visit the magic spot of Ponta Preta.

Be really carefull in this spot....only advaced kitesurfer can enter in this spot!

Another spot we visit is "Ali Baba", located in the nort west of the island, this place is really radical, huge waves, far away from the beach, no telephone line and only possible to reach with 4x4

In the west of the beach of Santa Maria theres also an intresting wave spot call "Puntino", wave are big, but make very fast close out!!!, only problem the wind, is super gusty!!! i was on my Kiteloose Hawk 10 (sle)with no problem
