Winner of the Red Bull King of the Air 2003, Frenchie Charles Deleau was recently in Dubai, Arab Emirates, from 24 - 26 March for one of the first rounds of Fly to Red Bull…, one of the qualifying rounds for the big one in the autumn 2004. He took the event with no problems thereby qualifying himself again for the finals in Hawaii, although we thought you usually got the nod anyway as reigning champion…
Anyway, no sooner was he back home in Hyeres, south of France, than he was out on the water again to run through his moves in close on 50 knots of wind!!! From what the many people watching have been saying, seems Charlie boy is THE one to watch this year…
